Arthur Gibbons (1947- )

A native of Dayton, Ohio and now Director of the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College, Gibbons creates bold abstract forms working mostly with aluminum and painted steel. His sculptures are in numerous distinguished collections, including the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, N.Y. and the Storm King Art Center, Mountainville, N.Y.
